Guidelines for Sharing AMAU Content with Family

Updated

At AMAU, we encourage the spread of beneficial knowledge. Many students naturally want their family members to benefit from what they are learning. While AMAU subscriptions are intended for individual students, limited sharing within the home is allowed under specific conditions.

Following these guidelines helps ensure that the platform remains fair to all students while still allowing knowledge to benefit your household.

When Sharing Is Allowed

You may share your subscription with family members if the following conditions are met.

1. The family member cannot afford a subscription

Sharing is intended for close family members who genuinely cannot afford access to the platform. The purpose is to allow them to benefit from knowledge they might otherwise not have access to.

2. They live in the same household

Sharing is only permitted with family members who live in the same home as you. This keeps the learning environment personal and limited to your immediate household.

3. Mentorship students should not share accounts

Students who are part of an AMAU mentorship program should not share their accounts. Mentorship is designed as a personal experience that includes individual guidance and tracking, which cannot function properly if the account is shared.

If Sharing Is Not Allowed

If a family member does not meet the conditions above, they should not use your account.

However, they can still benefit from AMAU through the AMAU Sponsorship Program, where eligible students may apply to receive access to the platform at no cost.

Why These Guidelines Matter

These guidelines help protect the platform and ensure that it remains sustainable for students around the world. They also make sure that the learning experience stays structured and fair for everyone.

When sharing is done responsibly, it can also bring knowledge into the home in a meaningful way. Families can watch lessons together, discuss what they learn, and encourage one another to stay consistent.

A Note for Students

Sharing knowledge within your home can be a great source of benefit. If family members are learning alongside you, encourage them to watch lessons regularly, reflect on what they learn, and try to apply it in daily life.

When approached with sincerity, spreading beneficial knowledge within the family can become a lasting source of reward.
