How Is AMAU Structured? (Semesters, Sections, Modules, Weeks, and Playlists)

Updated

AMAU Academy organises its programs in different ways depending on the subject and how the material is best learned. Some programs follow a time-based schedule, while others are arranged around stages of learning or simple video playlists.

Semesters

Some programs, such as Ilm with AMAU, are organised into semesters. This format allows the course to be delivered over a defined period rather than all at once.

Lessons are released gradually throughout the semester, usually on a weekly schedule, so students can follow the program step by step and keep pace with the material.

Sections

Some programs are divided into sections, with each section focusing on a different area of the subject.

For example, Arabic with AMAU is organised into sections that cover different stages of Arabic learning. One section may focus on the Arabic alphabet, another on building simple sentences, while others introduce verbs, patterns, and grammar concepts.

Each section builds on the previous one, helping students develop their Arabic gradually.

Modules

Certain programs are structured into modules, where each module represents a particular stage of learning.

For example, Hifdh with AMAU is divided into modules that guide students through different stages of the memorisation journey. Each module focuses on a specific part of the process and includes the lessons and guidance relevant to that stage.

Weekly Structure

Some courses follow a weekly format, where the material is organised by week. This structure is used when a topic or theme is intended to be covered within a shorter timeframe.

For example, programs such as Ruqyah with AMAU may present lessons week by week, with each week focusing on a particular topic or theme.

Playlists

Some courses use a simpler structure and are organised as playlists of lessons.

For example, Grow with AMAU courses are presented as a set of videos that students can watch from start to finish at their own pace.

This format allows students to move through the material continuously without waiting for scheduled lesson releases.
