AMAU Mentorship: Guided Growth Beyond the Lessons

Updated

Seeking knowledge is not only about watching lessons or completing exams. True learning transforms a person’s character, actions, and daily life.

For some students, staying consistent in this journey can be challenging. Motivation may fluctuate, responsibilities may increase, and studying alone can sometimes feel difficult.

To support students in their journey, AMAU offers a Mentorship Track designed to provide guidance, structure, and accountability.

This mentorship pathway aims to help students grow in discipline, consistency, and sincerity as they continue seeking beneficial knowledge.

What Is AMAU Mentorship?

AMAU Mentorship is a structured support system for students who show strong dedication to their studies.

Students selected for mentorship receive additional guidance and accountability to help them stay consistent in their learning and apply what they study in their daily lives.

The goal of mentorship is not speed, but steadfastness and growth in the path of knowledge.

Who Is Mentorship For?

Mentorship is offered to students who demonstrate seriousness and consistency in their studies.

Selection is based on clear indicators such as:

Watch hours - consistent engagement with lessons
Exam performance - understanding and retention of the material

These indicators help identify students who are committed to their learning and ready for additional guidance.

The Role of the Tarbiyah Team

Students accepted into the mentorship track are assigned a Tarbiyah Team.

Their role is to support students throughout their journey by helping them:

• Maintain consistency in their studies
• Stay motivated during difficult periods
• Develop discipline and study structure
• Apply beneficial knowledge in daily life

This mentorship is rooted in tarbiyah, focusing not only on knowledge, but also on character, intention, and personal growth.

Mentorship Is a Responsibility

Being selected for mentorship is not a title or status. It is an amanah.

Students who receive mentorship are expected to approach their studies with sincerity, humility, and commitment, striving to benefit from the support provided.

If You Are Not Selected Yet

If mentorship is not currently available to you, or if you are not selected in the current cycle, there is no need to feel discouraged.

Mentorship opportunities open approximately every three months, meaning new opportunities will continue to arise.

In the meantime, focus on:

• Consistency in watching lessons • Understanding what you study • Maintaining sincere intentions

Every sincere effort in seeking knowledge is valuable.
