Why Was I Charged Again?

If you notice a charge you were not expecting, it may be related to your subscription or account details. In many cases, the reason is simple and can be clarified quickly.
Common Reasons for Multiple Charges
Multiple accounts
Sometimes a student may already have an AMAU account but accidentally creates another one using a different email address.
Different email addresses across devices
Signing in with a different email on another device can sometimes lead to a second subscription being created.
Billing cycle timing
Charges may appear again when a monthly or annual subscription renews at the start of a new billing period.
How to Resolve This
